Getting to NYEW Events in New York City!

Airplane | Driving | Taxi | Subway | Train | Bus |

Overview

We take care of all the conference details, but you will need to arrange your own transportation to and from the airport, conference location, restaurants, attractions, and your hotel.

If you won’t be joining us by staying at the official conference hotel, be sure to check the proximity of your hotel to the conference locations, as attendees often tell us that being close made their experience that much better.

Airplane
The closest airports are John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK) and LaGuardia Airport (LGA); both have taxis readily available and are only a short ride to NYC.

Newark Airport (EWR) in Newark, New Jersey and MacArthur Airport (ISP) in Islip, NY (Long Island) are the next best airports if you will be traveling by car from the airport.

Driving
Please use mapquest for specific driving directions to a NYEW venue.
*Please note: Parking is a challenge and is quite expensive. If you drive, please be prepared for parking fees of $20 or more per day at your hotel.

Taxi
There are Yellow taxicabs everywhere in NYC, just hail one and tell them the address. You can also call a private taxi service to pick you up at a specified time. Carmel Car and Limo Service have the easiest phone number to remember: 866-666-6666; another popular company is Tel-Aviv Limo and Car Service 800-222-9888.

Subway
Subways are everywhere in NYC. For an overview map of the NYC subway system, please click here.
For a timetable and map of each individual subway line, please click here.

Train
Most trains entering New York will take you to either Grand Central Station or Penn Station.

From either station you can transfer to the subway, catch a taxicab or take a bus.

Bus
There are hundreds of bus routes in NYC, check with the NY Mass Transit Authority (MTA) for the bus that you need, which can be found here.

Did You Know: In the first half of 2009, only 11% of all NYC-Area based VC funding went to companies within the State? View the Report.
